     Otto's Dirt & Dozer Service is owned by Mike Otto. 
   Our office is located in Lindsay, Texas.  This is approximately 65 miles north of the Dallas, Fort Worth metro area and 5 miles south of the Red River that separates Texas and Oklahoma. 
     The office is open from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm every Monday through Friday. 
     He was born in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1952 and was officially released from High School in May 1970. He is a family man with a very supportive wife, two daughters, a son, a son-in-law, and a beautiful newborn granddaughter.
     Mike cut his teeth on equipment working for a Golf Course construction company. He started his own business in 1979 with one dozer.  Mike currently has equipment that includes a variety of earthmoving duties. 
          He began by doing mainly livestock ponds for farmers and ranchers in the north Texas area around Montague and Cooke counties. 
    
         
 
 
 
      Although he does not do as many livestock water holes as he used to  most of the work he does is considered agriclture. This means out of town, and not to close to any houses.      
      About half of Mike's time is spent working with people letting them know how to make their ponds, lakes and property better. 
      This time includes a broad range of knowledge and experience Mike has acquired over the last 30 years.  He can assist you create the lake or pond of your dreams or with a lake or pond that needs work.   
     In 1990 Mike met the "Pond Boss", Bob Lusk.  Bob is a well known fisheries biologist and co-owner of Pond Boss Magazine. 
     Mike believed in the future of the magazine and has become co-owner along with Bob Lusk.       
     Because of the miracle of spell check Mike has been able to write articles titled "Down To Earth" for the Pond Boss Magazine.  (Check out his current Pond Boss article on this web page.)
    
    
    

Our new head of office is Emily Copeland. She just graduated from Lindsay High School. She keeps Mike in line real well and could be the best thing that has ever come through Otto's Dirt Service.
