The following pictures were as we did a very large clean out and renovation of an old pond. 
 
This is a picture of pond when we arrived on site.

Mike made a small cut in the dam because there was a hayfield downstream he did not want to destroy.

The excavator begins digging up the mud.  Notice how the dirt is being piled to form another dam.

A dam is built to keep the mud & silt in place and not run into fields below.

This picture is some of the mud and silt we got out of the pond.

A large view of the silt and mud removed from the pond.

Rocks were removed from the pond area and will be put back as fish structure. 

Nothing Mother Nature has need go to waste.
